Through a series of rehearsals designed to bring out intimacy, Robin soon finds herself increasingly and undeniably attracted to Lacie, but Robin is long married to her girlfriend, and Lacie never seems to have a lasting relationship. Struggling to overcome with desire for Lacie, Robin must ask herself whether this relationship is manufactured, created for the sake of the "girl play", or is true love.
